I. Freight Check-in

Domestic cargo

1. Airline’s Cargo department or its duly authorized agent for and on behalf of the shipper who should prepare the Shipper's Letter of Instruction and his Inhabitant Identity Card or other identity certificates. The shipper should show the recommendation or other certificates as may be necessary to meet Airline’s Cargo department or its agent's requirements. 2. Perishables (PER), Live Animals (AVI), Urgent or Time-limited Goods must be booked on flight, date, weight and check-in place beforehand. 3. The shipper is responsible for obtaining valid certificates when consigning goods, which is limited by the government or should be authorized by police and quarantine. 4. The shipper is obligated to the facticity and correctness of information in the Shipper's Letter of Instruction. 5. The shipper should respectively prepare the Shipper's Letter of Instruction when consigning the goods with different quality and required condition.

International cargo

1. The shipper should prepare the Shipper's Letter of Instruction, all certificates and documents concerned. 2. The shipper should be obligated to the facticity and correctness of information in the Shipper's Letter of Instruction. 3. The shipper should be obligated to comply with all the law and regulations of any country the flight flown from, via and to, and the regulations of airlines concerned. 4. The shipper should complete all formalities required by customs and quarantine of origin country beforehand. 5. Perishables (PER), Live Animals (AVI), Urgent or Time-limited Goods and Heavy Cargo (HEA) must be booked on flight, date, weight and check-in place beforehand.

II、Parking and Marking of Package

1. The shipper is responsible for ensuring that the goods can be carried safely and the packing must be solid and light to meet the needs for complete transportation, so that the goods cannot be broken, dissipated and leaked. 2. Each package must be detailedly marked with the name and full address of the shipper and consignee and their employer. Each package must be marked with the shipper and consignee's storing and transporting needs. 3. Each package must be stuck or tied with a Cargo Tag. 4. Before using the second-hand pack, the shipper should rid the old tag and label. 5. The packing of special goods such as Live Animals (AVI), Perishables (PER), Valuable Cargo (VAL), Dangerous Goods (D.G.), etc. should be in accord with its owner's special requirements.

III、 Weight and Size of Package

Domestic Cargo

1. The max gross weight of goods and the size of package are in accord with the type of aircraft and the material handling equipment and capacity of origin airport, transfer station and destination. 2. The summations of length, width and height of each package is no less than 40㎝. 3. Unit of measurement is㎏. If the weight of cargo is less than 1㎏, the mantissa is calculated according to rounding-off method. 4. If the gross weight of each batch of cargo is less than 1㎏, it will be calculated as 1㎏. Unit of measurement of Valuable Cargo (VAL) is 0.1㎏ and unit of measurement of chargeable weight is 0.5㎏. 5. Each 6000 cm3 of light cargo is equal to 1㎏.

International cargo

1. The max gross weight of goods and the size of package are in accordance with the type of aircraft and the material handling equipment and capacity of origin airport, transfer station and destination. 2. The summation of length, width and height of each package is no less than 40㎝. 3. Unit of measurement of cargo is 0.1㎏ and unit of measurement of chargeable weight is 0.5㎏. If the gross weight of each batch of cargo is less than 0.5㎏, it will be calculated as 0.5㎏. If the gross weight of each batch of cargo is more than 0.5㎏ and less than 1㎏, it will be calculated as 1㎏. 4. Each 6000 cm3 of light cargo is equal to 1㎏.

IV. Escort goods in transportation (only for domestic goods)

1. Consignment is not accepted unless the shipper complies with the requirements of carrier if the goods need a person appointed by shipper for escort. 2. The shipper should contact airline’s cargo department beforehand and book flight, date, weight and check-in place, and escort goods to the Air cargo department to consign at the contracted time by two parties. The supercargo should purchase ticket and check in by himself / herself. 3. The supercargo should be responsible for all damage or loss, and the airlines will not be liable to compensate for the loss or damage of the escorted goods unless there is certificate that it's because of airlines’ blame.

◆ Cargo claim notice:

I. Cargo Claim

  After the goods arrived at destination, airline’s cargo department will notify the consignee to claim it according to consignee's name, address or telephone listed in the Shipper's Letter of Instruction. The consignee should present the recommendation, or the Arrival Requisition, or the consignee's part of the Shipper's Letter of Instruction and the valid identity certificates (Inhabitant Identity Card, passport, officer card, soldier card, civilian officer card, residence booklet etc.) and pick up the goods at airline appointed counter. The person entrusted by the consignee to pick up goods, should present the Arrival Requisition or the consignee's part of the Shipper's Letter of Instruction and the consignee's identity certificates, and complete the claim formalities. Before that, he/she must complete the concerned formalities of customs and quarantine and pay off all the charges (carriage, storage fee etc.).

II、Period and cost of storage

  General cargo

From the next day of the date when the Arrival Requisition (or the last Arrival Requisition of the goods consigned in batches) is issued, airline will keep the goods freely for 3 days. The overtime charge is RMB 0.1 Yuan per day and per ㎏. If the period of storage is less than 1 day, it will be calculated as 1 day. The minimum storage charge is RMB 5 Yuan.

  Valuable cargo

From the next day of the date when the Arrival Requisition is issued, the storage charge is RMB 5 Yuan per day and per ㎏. If the period of storage is less than 1 day, it will be calculated as 1 day. The minimum storage charge is RMB 50 Yuan.

  Dangerous goods

From the next day of the date when the Arrival Requisition is issued, airline will keep the goods freely for 3 days. The overtime charge is RMB 0.5 Yuan per day and per ㎏. If the period of storage is less than 1 day, it will be calculated as 1 day. The minimum storage charge is RMB 10 Yuan.

  From the date when the Arrival Requisition is issued, airline will keep freely the perishable or other goods that need cold storage for 6 hours. The overtime charge is RMB 0.5 Yuan per day and per ㎏. If the period of storage is less than 1 day, it will be calculated as 1 day. The minimum storage charge is RMB 10 Yuan.

III. Undeliverable goods and it's settlement

  The goods, arrived at the destination over 14 days, will be treat as undeliverable goods because of the following reasons: no consignee's name or no exact address in the Arrival Requisition; no response of consignee; consignee refuse to pick up the goods or pay the bill; other reasons cause nobody claim the goods. If the international goods, arrived at the destination over 90 days (60 days for domestic goods), is not claimed or there are not any responses of the shipper, Airlines will deal with the goods in accordance with air transport regulations.
